 Party BBQ Meatballs

This is so easy it practically cooks itself.

BBQ Party Meatballs

1 large bag of prepared frozen meatballs.
1 large bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 cup of apple butter
1 cup of honey
several dashes of Red Hot sauce (optional)

In a crockpot blend the ingredients for the sauce. Add the meatballs and turn crockpot on to high. Cook for at least 4 to 5 hours and at party time enjoy!

You can't get any easier than that!

 Crabby Hanky Panks

I love Hanky Panks for parties and the holidays. They are so easy to make, they freeze well and you can make as many as you like.

I make a pimento cheese base and add crab meat to it for a different twist on your typical hanky panks.

Crabby Hanky Panks

1 3 oz cream cheese
1 cup grated sharp cheese
1 cup monteray jack cheese
1/2 real mayo
3 TBSP pimento
1 tsp grated onion
1/4 tsp each of salt, pepper and garlic powder
2 can's of flaked white crab meat
loaf of mini party rye bread

Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add the rest of ingredients (except not the rye bread) Blend well. Spread a spoonful onto each slice of rye party bread coating to the edges. Bake at 350 until bubbly and brown slightly.

(I usually make several batches at a time and freeze them. To freeze, just place the hanky panks on a waxed papered cookie sheet. Place in freezer until frozen and then you can store them in a freezer bag and just pull out how many you need to bake.)

Enjoy!

 Homemade Peppermints

Here is another easy recipe to prepare that will amaze your friends and family. Great for gifts and or to just eat!

3 oz of cream cheese
2 cups of powdered sugar
2 drops of peppermint extract
food coloring paste

soft the cream cheese. Blend in the powdered sugar and the peppermint extract until well blended. You can divide if you want to have different color pastel mints, use paste very sparingly.

Roll the mixture into small balls and slightly flatten. Chill completely to set and store in air tight container.
